Terms & Conditions – One Breath Yoga

These Terms & Conditions apply to all classes, private sessions, workshops and services provided by One Breath Yoga (“we”, “us”, “our”). By attending a class, booking a session, or using this website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. INJURY WAIVER & Assumption of Risk

Yoga involves physical movement, breathwork and mindfulness practices. By participating in any class or session offered by One Breath Yoga, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.

You understand that yoga may involve physical exertion and that injuries or adverse effects can occur. You agree to take full responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing during and after participation.

Participation in One Breath Yoga classes, private sessions and related activities offered by Sheryl Campbell involves physical movement and, while care is taken to provide a safe and supportive environment, there are inherent risks associated with physical activity.

By participating in any class, session or activity provided by One Breath Yoga, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing. You voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, loss or damage that may occur during or after participation.

You agree to release and hold harmless One Breath Yoga, its instructor, venues and any associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from participation, including those resulting from negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, physical or mental harm, illness, property damage or loss.

You confirm that you are medically and physically fit to participate in yoga and related activities and that you have no condition, injury or illness that would prevent you from participating safely. Yoga is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis or treatment, and it may not be suitable for certain medical conditions.

You agree to:

  • Consult a qualified medical professional if you have any concerns about your ability to participate

  • Inform the instructor of any injuries, health conditions, limitations, pregnancy, post-natal or post-surgical status prior to class

  • Modify or stop any movement that causes pain, discomfort or distress

Participation is entirely voluntary, and you acknowledge that you alone are responsible for deciding whether to practise yoga and to what extent. You may rest or withdraw from any activity at any time.

One Breath Yoga is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought to classes or sessions.

This waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under the laws of New South Wales, Australia. By attending a class, private session or related activity, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this waiver and acknowledge that you are waiving certain legal rights, including the right to bring a claim for injury.


2. Health & Medical Responsibility

You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate in yoga classes and related activities.

It is your responsibility to:

  • Consult with a medical professional if you have any medical conditions, injuries, are pregnant, or have concerns about your ability to participate

  • Inform the instructor of any injuries, limitations or health conditions prior to class

  • Modify or stop any movement that causes discomfort or pain

One Breath Yoga does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.


3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Breath Yoga is not liable for any injury, loss, damage or harm (including personal injury, illness or death) arising from participation in classes or services, whether occurring during or after a session.

You agree to release and hold harmless One Breath Yoga, its instructor(s) and any associated venues from all claims, demands or causes of action arising from participation.


4. Personal Responsibility During Classes

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for listening to your body and working within your own limits

  • Participation is voluntary

  • You may stop or rest at any time during a class

The instructor may offer general guidance or adjustments, but it is your responsibility to determine whether these are appropriate for you.


5. Bookings & Payments

  • Casual group classes are payable per session

  • Multi passes for group classes are payable at your initial session
  • Private sessions and group bookings are available by arrangement

  • Pricing for private sessions, group bookings and special events is provided on application

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking.


6. Cancellations & Changes

Class schedules, locations and instructors may change from time to time.

For private sessions and group bookings, cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to attend a booked session without notice may result in a cancellation fee.


7. Venues & External Locations

Classes may be held at studios, private venues or outdoor locations.

One Breath Yoga is not responsible for:

  • Conditions of external venues

  • Weather conditions for outdoor sessions

  • Personal belongings brought to class

Participants attend external or outdoor sessions at their own discretion and risk.


8. Photography & Media

From time to time, photographs may be taken during classes or events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any images, please advise the instructor prior to the class.


9. Website Use

All content on this website is for general information purposes only and may be updated at any time. Use of this website does not create a client–practitioner relationship beyond booking enquiries.


10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
